ADORABLE CARD

I have made this card for the challenge on Wild Orchid Challenge Blog which is centred around a sketch by Bev Rochester, i hope people like it

 Ingredients Used

Spellbinders Lacey Circle Die
Marianne Creatable Frames - frame & swirl set
Base Card and mat - Coredinations in Baby Pink
DP Polka Dots - Papermania - Summer Bloom 6x6 paper stack
All embellishments from my favourite shop of all time WILD ORCHID CRAFTS
Guipure white lace.
Burgundy Crystal Chandeliers
Flat Gardenias - small 2 tone champagne pink
Cherry Blossoms - Baby Pink
Calla Lilies in 2tone Baby Pink
Heather Stems in Rosy Pink Ribbon 1/2" satin ribbon on the spool
5mm Pearls in Baby Pink

Where is my head at, i soooo forgot to give you the ingredients for colouring, so sorry guys, if you want to recreate this colouring exactly, this is what you will need xx

Promarkers
Skin - Satin all over and i used Blush in the shadowed areas and to warm up areas
Hair - I decided to make this beauty blonde, so i used Vanilla all over & warmed it up in areas with Buttercup, and i used Tan to the shadowed areas and areas that i wanted a little darker colour especially around the roots!
Dress - I used Blossom all over and shaded with Rose Pink
Ribbon in Hair - I used Blossom, Rose Pink, and for the polka dots, Canary

Around the image and die

I used Tim Holtz Distress Inkpads to add colour to the diecut whilst it was still in the die, in Spun Sugar, and used Victorian Velvet for shading around the main image

I hope i have made it a little easier now for you to be able to recreate the colouring in this card, i also want to say that if you havent got some of the darker colours for shading, use the lighter colour and go over the areas again where you want shade, multi layers will add a shaded effect.  A pen i cannot live without in these sets is Cool Grey 1, as that can be used to darken areas too!

and again, sorry for forgetting to list the colours xx vick

  11. Hi Vick, thanks for all your lovely comments on my blog, I hadn't left you a comment for a while and felt I found you all over again! Yep, I use prismas with sansador (Low odour sovent) and a torchon just dipped into it, on top of my base of copics. (I also found that Derwent artists pencils work the same though too)You go round and round in circles, blending it out. It really adds more depth, love it. FB? I just about get time to do blogging LOL! Hugs, Teresa xx
