OH DEAR M.I.A YET AGAIN!!! MAYBE I WILL STOP CRAFTING, NOT SURE

Oh I am so so sorry to all my blog followers, I know I haven't got many but the ones I do have I value so very much!
Recently my disabilities have stopped me from crafting altogether and I have made NOTHING. This has upset me as I love to craft, and even though I have just bought a meltpot and some pens (all yet to be delivered) I am of the mindset to sell everything I have and stop this hobby in its tracks, or not, as the case may be, as I feel I am not able to do it at all of late, it also hasn't helped that I have no dedicated craft area for some months now and not really anywhere to craft.
I have a video to make for my team channel Saturated Canary and haven't been able to do that either due to illness, but I have what I want to do all set up on a tray so it will have to be done today from my bed, a day late.........I do hope that my friends will remain me friends still, if I do not craft, just so that I can see what you are all making.
I have hardly been on Facebook/Twitter either and I love Facebook and all my friends, so I am right out of sorts, I do hope I can carry on doing that at the very least, anyway, I will post my video on here too when it is done, hope to chat again soon, take care, hugs, Vick xxx

Hey Guys,

"Hello Stranger" I hear you say........."where have you been?" If you don't go on Facebook, you'll have thought that this old girl fell of the face of the earth! but obviously I haven't, as I am now here, talking to you all!
Basically, I have been a very bad blogger of recent weeks, as you can see, I haven't been here since Mother's Day, tut tut, very naughty blogger!  I have had so much on with trying to move my bedroom and craft room around, all into one room and we are still only half way through, due to disabilities everything is done in very slow mode, so its a case of things that would have been done in a day before, now take days and sometimes weeks in this case! It didn't help that John, my hubby was in the middle of moving around the living room and then starting on the craft room and bedroom without having a break and rest and has now burned himself out and nothing is being done! So, I have been ill, and behind with everything and i'm afraid my blog & my You Tube channels came last and I have to apologise for that, and hope that you all stick with me and know that I will be back on form very soon! Give me a couple of weeks to 3 and I will have everything up and running. I could just post everyday on here without a card or project and yes, I would be posting and keeping in touch but that's what Facebook is for, my blog is to share my crafty escapades & my channel is to do tutorials, so, please, bear with me, and I will be back as soon as I can, thanks guys and see you all soon!! HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY

Hey there my lovelies!

Yes, there are no pics or cards today i'm afraid but I just wanted to say to all my followers out there who are mummy's Happy Mother's Day......I am presuming that outside of the U.K it may not be your Mothers Day but today 10th March, 2013 it is Mother's Day in the U.K.......so, however you are spending it, with your children? or with hubby, as they have all grown up and left? or on your own/with other family or friends?

LOVE TO CREATE CHALLENGE

I'm afraid I am late this week as I am not well and bedbound, serves me right, I actually dared to go out on Saturday night and enjoy myself!!! tut tut........I went to a haunted house and did a paranormal night with our friends.  Anyway, I haven't been able to move since, so luckily I had coloured in my digi stamp already from our sponsor this week Eureka Stamps with my beloved Promarkers, check out Love to Create Challenge blog HERE and join in!! LOVE TO CREATE DT CARDS

So, this week at Love to Create Challenge blog we got the chance to work with some fantastic digital stamps from our sponsor this week A Day for the Daisies HERE I was that taken with the stamps on offer that I didn't know what to choose and when I had I ended up making two cards, so this post is a little bit photo heavy folks, LOL !!! Our challenge this week was 'All That Glitters'

This 1st card is, as you can see in lilac and teal, (with my beloved ProMarkers) I just love this colour combo and I don't use it enough, I thought it really suited her well!!  The flowers on the right of the card are handmade by me with vintage seam binding, and a lovely bow I made from one of my favourite materials, scrunched taffeta! I completely forgot, when I had nearly finished that our challenge this week was 'all that glitters' LOL........so I hoped adding tiny diamantes to her hair and teal coloured diamantes around my flowers, could pass for glittering!!! Ha!! x

This is the 2nd card I did from the same stamp in Pink and Light Green, again with my beloved ProMarkers. I am very taken with this colour combo too, so you can tell why I had such a dilemma choosing which one to use so I thought, what the heck! I'll do two this week!!! LOL....the lace flower and stickpin are both handmade by me, I love them......and I have added crystalline glitter around the girl and through her hair......topped off with a iridescent butterfly and some Melissa Frances pearls, this card has turned out to be one of my all time favourites!! I hope you agree, I love them both

I used a 'mint' smelling engraved cardbase that i've had for years!
I cut a strip from some red and velvet handmade paper from my stash

MY BIRTHDAY CANDY DRAW!!! AND THE WINNER IS....

WARNING - PICCY HEAVY POST

Hey folks,

Well i had a lovely birthday yesterday, i slept most of the afternoon as i haven't been too well, i went on a trip to visit my mum who's birthday was on the 11th and its a 250mile round trip and it makes me ill everytime and lays me up in bed, so i have been bedbound a lot since, so i didn't come downstairs yesterday until 4.30pm but when i got down here, John (my soulmate, hubby and best friend)  presented me with a gorgeous bunch of red roses, and was cooking my birthday dinner, Steak Diane.........ooh it was absolutely delicious....then after i rested my full belly, lol, a stunning delish dessert i also wasn't expecting, then a glass of wine (the only wine i can drink) and my favourite drink, coffee!!!! a great night sat watching t.v and stuffing my face!!! LOL xxx

Hey there friends!

I have some news about my handmade embellishments.  As you know i love making my own flowers and even show you how to make them, however, many of my friends have asked me if they can buy them from me! So after Christmas i will open a little store where you can buy some bits and bobs i've made or bought in and my cards and other projects! Obviously this isn't going to earn me big bucks, its literally to earn extra pin money to spend on more crafting goodies and whilst this is the purpose, i will not be charging the earth for things, below i will show you some of the things i will be selling and there will be more to show you in the New Year, once i get some pennies together to make more.............so i hope you will stick with me, the first thing was an embellie i made tonight from baby pink velvet ribbon, pearls and lace, hope you like it, i LOVE it..................

I have also made white ones, coffee&creme ones and antique pink ones

I will also be selling bling crystal heart and round shaped buttons, and also painted wooden buttons at the moment in roses and oriental peony, although i will stock some other types after Christmas!

I am also going to be stocking Czech Crystal multi faceted beads in varied sizes

I will also be selling my handmade stickpins and i hope you like them as much as i do cause i will be giving some away!!
