I love Saturated Canary digi stamps, if you haven't heard of them, you need to check them out HERE . So, as i check Krista's blog out daily (Krista is the artist & owner of S.C) i noticed that on the challenge blog there was a shout out for Guest Designers for the DT.....so i thought, well, i'm a designer, maybe i could have a go, i maybe lucky and i maybe not, but i won't know unless i have a go, so here is my entry, i hope you like it, please leave me a comment if you have time so i know you've visited me, and i promise to answer your comment,

Isn't she beautiful? I could have overloaded her with embellies and flowers, however, i think she is pretty as she is, so i only added enough to compliment her beauty. Her name is 'Whispy' I have shown you the full card, and then a close up of her, with her glittery wings!
Ingredients i used for this card
'Whispy' digital stamp (link in post) on a Spellbinder Die (labels 23)
Promarkers :
cool grey 1, warm grey 2 (used in the way i have shown on my tuts on YouTube check them out on my channel 'Vixcrafts') Powder Blue, Tan, Cinnamon, Blush, Dusky Pink, Vanilla
The colouring was also enhanced with Prismacolor Premiers:
Powder Blue, Beige Sienna, Deco Peach, Burn't Ochre, Sienna Brown

Aww she's lovely Vick. I have to give you extra points or bravery. LOL This was my first SC purchase and I've yet to color her because her hair intimidates me so much. :-) I love the blue and brown color combination--one of my faves. Thank you so much for your very sweet comments on my blog. I just tried out on a whim. There are so many amazing colorers out there but it was fun to try out anyway. Guess everything's in the hands of Krista and the DT now. I wish you the best of luck!

I know you'd be able to cope with 'Whispy' your colouring is awesome, and guess what, she was in my first order from Krista too, i think i bought 3 at first, and whispy was one of them! ReplyDeleteI did it the same way i did the little boys hair on one of my tutorial videos with Promarkers, started off with vanilla, then added some tan, cinnamon, and then went in to emphasise the curls etc with some pencils, thats it basically!! im so pleased you've come to have a look, hugs to you hun, and thankyou xxxx Vick
