SIMPLE BUT EFFECTIVE TIP

Hi Guys,

I thought i would show you an idea i thought of, i am sure there are many crafters on the net that thought of the same idea, i don't profess that the idea is mine alone, but i thought of it yesterday due to a colouring boo boo i made, and so i thought i would share the idea with you if you havent done it already yourself!  It seems simple and obvious but to me, until i made this colouring mistake, it didn't occur to me. So here is my idea below that i took a pic of for you.

As i said the other day i have 30 odd Promarkers, and obviously would love some more, and maybe try some copic shades, for a change, but what i have is adequate to my needs at the moment, but what crafter would refuse more? LOL.....I don't know any,  do you? hehehe.....
Anyway, i digress, back to my problem, i was colouring in one of my beloved Saturated Canary digi's and went to pick up a skin tone colour (or i thought was) because of a night light in my bedroom i'd actually picked up a grey, so my little girl became grey and no matter how i tried, she just didnt look right, it even crossed my mind to make it a grey, black and white pic but i had already added some colours, so, i thought to myself "make a chart of your colours, when you are colouring, look at your chart, preferably on a craft room wall next to you or somewhere in eyeshot just so you can see the colour range you have and then you can make the right choices when colouring in your stamped or printed images...........good idea? and you can also see what pens you have at a glance!
Thanks for visiting me today! maybe you could leave a comment so i know you've been and i can reply, Hugs & Blessings, Vick xxx

  2. Good idea Vicky. I tend to rely on the packet version but the colours don't always come out the same. Hugs, Buttons x
