Hi Guys,
Due to rheumatoid arthritis i have taken a bit longer than others to master (or nearly master) the techniques of Paint Fusion ( the fusing of Sheena Douglass' stamps and Pebeo Deco Paints) I have been overwhelmed with the feeling that i couldn't do it, then last night i couldnt sleep and decided to try some sweetpeas and poppies, i am going to post the sweetpeas now and the poppies tomorrow, so for now the sweetpeas, hope you like them!
love & light

Hello - I found this pic after I saw your poppy pic, and have to say that I can't believe this is your first card. It's marvellous and you should be proud of it xxx
ReplyDeleteBrilliant! I like you have just got around to trying - looking forward to seeing your poppies. I have't got the poppies or sweetpea stamps yet - which is soon to be rectified as they are my favourite flowers.

Vicky, Your painting is beautiful. I have never heard of paint fusion. I definitely will have to look at this. Your poppies are stunning as i just saw those on facebook..Keep up the good work and knowing you have RA as I do you give us hope. Hugs, Martha
ReplyDeleteHi Vick. I think you've been telling me porkies, these are just stunning. You've mastered PF brilliantly and are now putting me totally to shame.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know you suffered with RA. My Mum has it very badly so I sympathise totally and know what a struggle it must be.
You have nothing to worry about though, these are gorgeous. I better get my skates on!!
Hugs Lisax
Vicky this is a masterpiece, you are truly blessed. I have not started mine yet, dont think they will be as good as yours. Well done. xxx
ReplyDeleteO.M.G.G I never thought people would like what i did, and i was contemplating painting over those sweetpeas before embossing them, and John said, no they are ok, stop putting yourself down so i thought right i will carry on and finish them off, all they need now is a lilac or purple ribbon to hang the plaque by, look out for them on sheena's shows. And this is from the bottom of my heart to you all, i get emotional when people leave me lovelycomments, as you took the time out of your lives to leave those comments and this is why i answer them and appreciate all of you, dear friends, vick xxxxx
ReplyDeleteDebbie, they will be, go for it.......i just know everyone can do something, and no-one is better than anyone else..........join crafty fusioneers on FB for those that arent there already...........hugs deb xxx vick
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful Vicky, love the rich tones and the composition....simply stunning babe :)
ReplyDeleteIs it mountboard or watercolour card in the background?
I started with pain in my knuckles 3 years ago and was diagnosed with early onset of arthritis in my hands last year, like you I am determined to keep doing what I love, I have already had to stop hand knitting and crochet, I'll be buggered if I'm going to give up my paper crafting!
